Located in Gümüşhacıköy, a historic town in Northern Anatolia, 502 Vineyards is one of Türkiye’s rising stars in the world of craft wine. The winery was founded by Mert Atay and Rifaa Wais with a vision to revive native Turkish grape varieties using natural methods and minimal intervention.
At the heart of their work is Merzifon Karası, a red grape indigenous to the region. You’ll also find Dişi Mercan, an extremely rare white grape vinified for the very first time by 502. These Turkish wines are made using wild fermentation, aged in French oak or stainless steel, and produced in limited quantities.
